Advisory Council
The American Crime Prevention Institute recognizes that current crime prevention practitioners possess unique insight into the needs, demands and training desires of crime prevention officers throughout the United States. In order to capture that knowledge, the American Crime Prevention Institute formed an advisory council to assist the ACPI staff in course development, curriculum review, marketing assistance, coordination with local and state crime prevention institutions, and to provide operational guidance and direction.
The American Crime Prevention Institute Advisory Board is comprised of:
• John Adams, McHenry Police Department, IL
• Lisa Scates, Montana Crime Prevention Council, MT
• John Hanke, Joliet Police Department, IL
• Michele Goldsberry, Knoxville Police Department, TN
• Jay Schmidt, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, OH
• Tammy Snider, Plano Police Department, TX
