Our Mission

Security Design of New Campus Buildings

The most efficient and cost effective time to implement appropriate environmental, physical and electronic security measures is during the design stage of new campus buildings and facilities. During the life use of these facilities, there will never be a better opportunity to implement effective security measures.

This service intends to influence the safety and security of new campus buildings and facilities by establishing security objectives to be reflected in the architect's design. It ensures the most effective and least costly application of security strategies and identifies budget requirements for security related equipment and systems. Our involvement in the design process begins with initial program development and continues through schematic design and design development. Often, it also includes the development of construction documents and management of the security systems installation process.

For additional information about campus security consulting services, contact: Dan Keller, Executive Director.
