Seminar Description The Church Crime Prevention Seminar is designed for church administrators, ministers and leaders, as well as local law enforcement officers. Participants in this one-day seminar will learn how to evaluate internal and external security risks associated with houses of worship and how to develop a comprehensive security plan to mitigate these risks.
The seminar will demonstrate how to protect physical property and assets of the church by use of an exclusive church security assessment tool and the development of cost effective security awareness policies and procedures.
The Church Crime Prevention Seminar will also focus upon the protection of the churchs financial assets. Risk factors associated with fraud and embezzlement will be evaluated and strategies to avoid victimization presented.
An additional priority of the seminar will be the protection of the churchs most valuable asset - its children and youth. This timely topic will highlight proven strategies for protecting those most vulnerable from an array of potential areas of risk.
Each seminar participant will receive a copy of the American Crime Prevention Institutes detailed seminar guidebook, including a guide for conducting a church security assessment.
Who Should Attend Law enforcement officers, as well as church administrators, ministers and leaders, are encouraged to attend and participant in the one-day Church Crime Prevention Seminar. Participation in this seminar by both law enforcement officers and church leaders will represent a unique opportunity to collectively address the problems and issues associated with church security. It will also represent a proactive initiative to minimize or mitigate the risks experienced by houses of worship.

Course Logistics The Church Crime Prevention Seminar is a one-day program. The seminar will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 3:00 p.m., with a one-hour break for lunch (on your own). All seminar participants will receive a detailed seminar notebook, including an exclusive guide for conducting a church security assessment.
The cost of attending the Church Crime Prevention Seminar is $85.00 for each participant. Seminar participants are strongly encouraged to register on-line. Walk-up registration (with payment) the day of the seminar will be accepted, however.
