Seminar Description
The Church Crime Prevention Seminar is designed for church administrators, ministers and leaders, as well as local law enforcement officers. Participants in this one-day seminar will learn how to evaluate internal and external security risks associated with houses of worship and how to develop a comprehensive security plan to mitigate these risks.

The seminar will demonstrate how to protect physical property and assets of the church by use of an exclusive church security assessment tool and the development of cost effective security awareness policies and procedures.

The Church Crime Prevention Seminar will also focus upon the protection of the church’s financial assets. Risk factors associated with fraud and embezzlement will be evaluated and strategies to avoid victimization presented.

An additional priority of the seminar will be the protection of the church’s most valuable asset - its children and youth. This timely topic will highlight proven strategies for protecting those most vulnerable from an array of potential areas of risk.

Each seminar participant will receive a copy of the American Crime Prevention Institute’s detailed seminar guidebook, including a guide for conducting a church security assessment.
